The Wyoming鈥檚 Tomorrow Scholarship is a state scholarship program for Wyoming students 24 years of age or older that demonstrate financial need.
Eligible students can receive up to $1,800 per semester / $3,600 per academic year for full-time attendance (12 or more credits per semester). Scholarship awards are prorated for students enrolled less than full-time at $150 per credit hour.
Scholarship funding is limited. Funding for academic programs that span more than one year is subject to the availability of funds. If funding permits, scholarships will be renewable for students that maintain continuous enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
A student may not receive this scholarship for more than the equivalent of four full-time semesters and may not receive more than a total lifetime scholarship award of $7,200.
Students must apply prior to the first class day of the semester to qualify for this scholarship. If a student applies after the semester starts, they will be considered for the following semester.
Who is Eligible for a Wyoming鈥檚 Tomorrow Scholarship?
- Must be a Wyoming resident 24 years of age or older.
- Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each academic year and demonstrate remaining financial need after all other grants and scholarships are considered.
- Must be a US citizen or a permanent US resident who meets the definition of an eligible non-citizen under federal student financial aid requirements.
- Must agree to register, or have previously registered, with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services by completing a new account registration at .
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Must maintain continuous enrollment each fall and spring semesters to remain eligible for this scholarship.
Eligible 糖心live Programs
- Students enrolled in any degree-seeking program are eligible to receive this scholarship: credit diplomas, certificates, associates and bachelor of applied science degrees.
Who is Not Eligible for a Wyoming鈥檚 Tomorrow Scholarship?
- Cannot be currently receiving or eligible to receive the Hathaway Scholarship.
- Cannot owe a refund under a federal Title IV student financial aid program or a subsequently enacted similar federal student financial aid program, or a student financial aid program administered through the State of Wyoming.
- Cannot be incarcerated.
- Previously received a scholarship under this scholarship program for four full-time academic terms or a total of $7,200 in scholarships.

About Wyoming鈥檚 Tomorrow Scholarship
The Wyoming鈥檚 Tomorrow is a new state-funded scholarship program for adults enrolling at one of Wyoming鈥檚 eight community colleges, or the University of Wyoming, to pursue a degree or certificate. The Wyoming's Tomorrow Scholarship program was created by the Wyoming State Legislature under State Statute WS 21-16-19 and is intended to provide post-secondary education access through financial assistance to qualified students.
