The Librarians - A documentary screening and community discussion

Join us Jan. 29 from 4-6:30 p.m. or
Jan. 31 from 2-4:30 p.m. in the
ÌÇÐÄlive Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium (AUD) for screenings of The Librarians.

The screenings are free and open to the public.

About the Film:
The Librarians explores how librarians across the United States are navigating growing challenges to book access and collection policies — and what these debates mean for education, free expression and public life.

When Texas lawmakers call for reviews of library collections, librarians find themselves on the frontlines of a national conversation. Drawing on historical context and real-world
experiences, the film examines how restrictions on race-related and LGBTQIA+ content are shaping communities across the country.
