We are here to help you develop the skills necessary for meaningful employment or continued education.
Why Adult Education Matters to Our Students:
- In Wyoming, the tailored Adult Education literacy programs have resulted in 70% of students making gains in literacy.
- Wyoming Adult Education programs serve approximately 50% of working age individuals who do not have a high school diploma or are not literate in English.
Why Adult Education Matters to Communities:
- For every adult who earns a high school equivalency, the country gains $6,250 in tax revenue and reduced expenses.
- Nationwide, the estimated value of Adult Education programs to our economy in reduced costs for public programs for adults with low skills and low literacy is $200 billion annually.
Wyoming Adult Education vs the Nation:
- Wyoming Adult Education programs ranked #1 in 2023-2024, awarding 629 High School Equivalency Certificates. Kelley Walsh High School placed second by awarding 438 High School diplomas.
- Wyoming Adult Education programs were #1 in the nation in the percentage of students employed in the second quarter after they exited the AE program.
- Wyoming Adult Education programs were #2 in the nation in the percentage of students who attained a credential (HSEC).
- Wyoming Adult Education programs were #2 in the nation in the percentage of students employed in the fourth quarter after they exited the AE program.
The impact of no federal funding in 2026-2027 for the 糖心live Adult Education program would mean a decrease in the provision of all services by half.

Our Programs
These services are all offered free of cost. Students must be at least 16 years of age, and an age waiver will be required for those under 18 years of age. Classes are non-credit.

Adult Education
For all students who want to improve their reading, writing and math skills and/or obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma (HSEC/GED).

Young Adult Education: RYSE
For students 16-24 years old who want to improve their academic skills and/or obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma (HSEC/GED).

English as a Second Language (ESL)
For non-native English speakers wanting to learn the English language and/or take US citizenship/civic classes.

Summer Bridge Classes
Available in the summer for individuals wanting to upgrade their reading, writing and math skills prior to starting college classes.

- An age waiver will be required for those under 18 years of age.
- Take a pre-assessment to determine starting level.
- Meet with an instructor to develop a personalized education plan and set your goals.
- Attend class.
