June is an artist, illustrator, designer, and teacher based in Millbrook, NY. She lived in Laramie, Wyoming for seven years, and her time there continues to influence her creative and community-driven practice. Her paintings have been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London and Nature Morte Gallery in Berlin. She is represented by Kenise Barnes Fine Art (East Coast) and Visions West Contemporary (Rocky Mountain West).
Her work has appeared in New American Paintings, The Paris Review, The Wall Street Journal, and Guernica, among others, and has been featured in film, on book covers, and in various design collaborations. She is also the co-founder of the Wyoming Art Party.
June鈥檚 practice bridges solitary studio work鈥攑rimarily painting鈥攁nd collaborative, socially engaged projects that explore how individuals and communities are seen and how they see themselves.

Her latest album, I Pray for My Enemies, is a powerful musical meditation that blends spoken word, saxophone, and song to explore healing, identity, and resilience. With performances spanning the globe鈥攆rom the Vancouver Folk Music Festival to the Library of Congress鈥擧arjo brings a deeply moving and unforgettable presence to every stage.
